What types of photography services do you offer?
I specialise in capturing your story across every chapter — maternity, newborn (in my studio or as a Fresh 48 at the hospital), family sessions, couples, and birth photography. Whether you're celebrating a growing bump, welcoming a brand-new baby, or photographing the gloriously imperfect everyday with your tribe, I'd love to be the one to capture it.
How do I book a photography session with your team?
Reach out through the contact form, send me an email at hello@lucygracephotography.com.au, or book a complimentary fifteen-minute call to chat through your session first. Once you're ready, I'll send through an invoice and contract — a $150 retainer secures your date and is fully credited toward your final collection. For births and weddings a 25% deposit holds the spot in my calendar.
Can we choose the location for our photo shoot?
Absolutely — and choosing the right location is half the magic. We can shoot outdoors at one of my favourite Adelaide spots (think Maslin's Beach, Port Willunga, the Adelaide Hills, the Botanic Gardens), in the comfort of your own home, or in my beautiful studio. Once you've booked, you'll receive my full Location Guide so you can take your time choosing the setting that feels most like you.
How long does a typical photo session last?
It depends on the session type — family and maternity sessions usually run 60 to 90 unhurried minutes, newborn studio sessions are 2 to 3 hours so we can move entirely at baby's pace, and Fresh 48 hospital or in-home sessions are around 90 minutes. For births, I'm on call from 34–41 weeks and stay from around 5–6cm dilated through to 1–2 hours after baby arrives. No session is ever rushed — we move at the rhythm that suits you and your family.
How long does it take to receive the final edited photos?
Your full gallery will be delivered within three weeks of your session — beautifully edited in both colour and black-and-white, and presented through your own private password-protected online gallery you can return to whenever you need to.
What happens if the weather is unfavorable on the day of an outdoor shoot?
For outdoor sessions, I keep an eye on the forecast with you as the day approaches — and if we genuinely need to reschedule for weather, we will, at no extra cost. South Australian skies are dramatic, and they almost always give us something workable, but a soft drizzle or a 40-degree heat day will always be moved to a more comfortable date for you and your family.
